The remaining ancient builders who remained at the prismarine monument fled, taking all of there gold which was seen as a religious material. Now they wonder the sea unable to be killed by drowning lest they be killed by battle. The ancient builders who set out on massive ships perished to the waves and drowned, but the curses effects had not finished, the dead ancient builders rose from there watery graves though they had already drowned they could not die from it. They set out amongst the oceans by the hundreds and searched for the item of legend but unfortunately they failed.
This was to be done so as to move the guardians and elder guardians to this new structure. The plan was supposed to be simple find the heart of sea and make an even bigger structure on top of the monument they had already built. The tides began to rise and overtake the monument, the ancient builders knew they had to find a legendary item, the heart of the sea. The ancient builders were not ignorant and started building the elder guardian, a guardian capable of seeing even invisible enemies and at last the ancient builders found sanctuary, but the curse upon the overworld would soon surface again to create the monsters of the sea. The ancient builders went to there monuments made of prismarine, a block with a recipe unknown to Steve and built guardians also with methods unknown to Steve, the guardians killed the abominations, but a new threat had come in the form of phantoms, they came in the night and killed the ancient villagers in large numbers, clearly it was an enemy invisible to there eyes. The abominations caused the ancient builders to flee to there monuments and not aid the villagers in their battle. This angered the Gods and they cursed the overworld, the powers over life and death used in the creation of the Totem of undying raised the dead corpses of the dead humanoid beings creating zombies and skeletons, the sphagnum Pete moss known for spontaneous combustion and electrochemical properties would evolve to become the creeper, alas the Illagers were caste out from the village to build large mansion in the woodlands. Due to the unethical workings of the Illagers who tried to harness the power over life and death and eventually succeeded in creating the totem of undying, there first taboo would not compare to their attempt to create life. The ancient builders however made extravagant megastructures all over the earth, as such ancient builders did not believe in the villagers Gods pagan Gods as they saw the villagers as inferior, and believed there teachings blasphemous. The villagers were few in numbers compared to ancient builders and lived much simpler lives in simple villages. The Villagers and their subspecies the Illagers, were a people of magic and superstition who worshiped pagan Gods. They built temples and monuments to worship there Gods who were believed to have created them, and blessed them with intelligence. The ancient builders were a race of religious people.
